Description: John Leitch's desk knives will feel as at home in a collection as they will on an executive's desk. The ATS-34 stainless steel blade was etched with a relief for his maker's mark. This results in the "satin finish" that has made his work well known. The ATS-34 stainless steel blade was heat treated by Paul Bos to Rc 59 and will have exceptional edge holding.
The stainless steel handle is meticulously engraved in scroll style. The engraving was done by hand, one knife at a time by Rex Pedersen, a longtime member of the Engravers Guild of America. A central section is perfect for engraving initials. Exceptional work throughout!
