Description: Handmade by Jim Arbuckle, this upswept skinner will feel at home in a collection or used out in the field. This knife utilizes a deep choil (cut-out) for the forefinger to rest in. This offers several different grip options, and makes the knife easy to grasp - even with slippery hands. The thumb ramp is fileworked for a sure, comfortable grip.
The blade is made from ATS-34 stainless steel and is hand satin finished. It is hardened and double tempered to Rc 58-59 for excellent edge retention. The fileworked thumb ramp moves into a serpentine fileworked tang. For strength and durability, the grips are secured with epoxy and nickel silver pins. Excellent fit and finish throughout!
