Description: This exceptional hunter is the creation of Mastersmith Ed Caffrey. The blade is forged to shape from 1080 carbon steel and was given a hand satin finish. A distal taper results in a very aggressive point and excellent balance. A differential heat treatment (a softened spine with a harder cutting edge) ensures a keen, long lasting edge. The handle is sculpted from a single piece of curly koa wood. The wood has excellent figure and mixed light and dark tones. A nickel silver lanyard hole completes the handle. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
