Description: The Benchmade 710SBKD2 is a modern classic, being one of the longest-running models in their lineup. The D2 semi-stainless steel blade is slightly recurved and features a swedge. The spine retains a flat portion which is perfect for use with a flint. Dual thumbstuds make for fast left- or right-hand opening. The handle is flared at the thumb ramp and has jimping on both the top and the bottom to prevent the user's hands from sliding onto the blade. Textured G10 scales provide a comfortable, secure grip that does not chew up pockets. The pocket clip can be set for right- or left-hand tip-up carry. The AXIS lock makes this knife 100% ambidextrous, a feature rarely found in full size tactical folders. The pommel is tapped to accept a lanyard for added retention. When closed, the entire knife fits easily in the hand and in a pinch can be used as an impact device.
