Description: The team of Tom Sterling and JP Higgins is a formidable force, creating masterworks that evoke an earlier era. Joe Higgins, who has been flint knapping knives for over 10 years, created the blade of this masterpiece with precision. This skill is matched in the detailed handle created by Tom Sterling, who has brought his attention to detail learned as an internationally known netsuke artist to this piece.
The large obsidian blade was hand knapped by Dr. Joe Higgins. Tom Sterling formed the handle, creating a fusion of Japanese and Celtic themes. The maple inlay has been pyro graphed into a Celtic tri-knot on both sides of the handle. Scrolling around the handle is bark pyrography - a motif often found in Japanese work, showing Sterling's background as a netsuke artist. Maple inlays on the side of the handle toward the maple guard show the signatures of both artists.
Endless Knot Dagger is accompanied by a black walnut presentation stand.
