Description: This exceptional set of two miniature daggers was made by Peter Martzitelli. It has been in a private collection and is in new condition. By all appearance, both daggers could have been made yesterday.
The matching daggers each are just shy of 6-3/4 inches overall with 3-3/4 inch blades. The dagger ground blades are ATS-34 stainless steel. The ricasso has been bead blasted. A hand rubbed satin finish in the grinds lends an heirloom appearance.
The quillion style guards are formed from 416 stainless steel. They have been mirror polished, with the front and rear faces bead blasted. Stainless ferrules surround fluted mammoth ivory handles. The pristine ivory is nicely matched and shows off the natural grain of the ivory.
Excellent work throughout on a fascinating one-of-a-kind dagger pair.
