Description: This tactical daily carry folder was handmade by Sniper Bladeworks -- a collaboration between Journeyman Smith Jody Muller and Lance Abernathy. The name, POC, comes from the Grateful Dead anthem, "Pride of Cucamonga."
When Jody made the wide, modified tanto blade, he used a traditional Japanese method of heat treating where the spine is coated with clay to insulate the blade during quenching. The resulting blade has a soft, supportive spine, with a hard, long lasting edge. The differential heat treatment line is exceptional and immediately captivating.
G10 scales are carved for a dramatic feel and grip. Bead blasted titanium liners keep the knife light and fast. Black G10 backspacers. The titanium pocket clip is mounted for tip-up carry and makes it easy to keep this knife close at your side. Silky-smooth action and perfectly centered blade. Exceptional work throughout!
