Description: Canadian bladesmith Mark Banfield has created an exceptional, hand forged, work horse of a camp knife!
The clip point blade was forged from 5160 carbon steel and was heat treated with an edge quench and triple temper. This results in a soft, supportive spine, with a keen, long lasting edge. The blade is completed with a hand rubbed 400 grit satin finish.
Brown canvas micarta scales are set on a distal tapered full tang and completed with a leather lanyard. Finger grooves ensure a great grip. The knife is accompanied by a hand stitched leather sheath. You won't want to put this one down! Great balance for chopping!
