Description: An exceptional Wayne Whittaker folding knife! The bolsters and the well-centered blade are both formed from heat blued Robert Eggerling damascus in different patterns. The mosaic pattern of the bolsters compliments the multi-bar blade well. The highly complex damascus patterns are fascinating -- both from a distance and upon closer examination. The heat blued steel offsets the ruby-inlaid thumb stud beautifully.
Mammoth tooth scales in tones of slate and raw umber are an excellent match to the blued damascus as well. Both the liners and backbar have been meticulously fileworked, and matching filework extends into a thumb ramp. Four more rubies are inlaid into the spine, surrounded by a delicate hammer finish. The interior of the backbar is fileworked surrounding the maker's mark -- a nice touch. Excellent work throughout!
