Description: A stunning Wayne Whittaker folding knife! The bolsters and well-centered blade are both formed from heat blued Robert Eggerling mosaic damascus. The bold spiderweb pattern of the bolsters is bracketed by a bold twist pattern damascus -- creating a combined swirled effect which compliments the spiderweb pattern of the blade. The highly complex patterns are fascinating -- both from a distance and upon closer examination. The heat blued steel offsets the ruby-inlaid thumb stud beautifully.
Mammoth tooth scales in tones of ivory, fawn and powder blue are an excellent match to the damascus as well -- the undulating lines in the molar complementing the damascus bolsters perfectly. The blue anodized titanium liners are meticulously fileworked, and matching filework decorates the backbar -- along with a delicate hammer textured finish and inlaid sections of matching mammoth tooth. The interior of the backbar is fileworked and textured surrounding the maker's mark, a nice touch. Hammer-textured screws complete the handle. Excellent work throughout!
