Description: South African knifemaker Corrie Schoeman designs a spectacular folder and pays attention to every detail. This dramatic modified swayback wharncliffe folder shows off his work at its best and most creative.
The Damascus blade is a bold ladder pattern. The perfectly centered blade is easily opened with the ruby thumb stud.
The stacked handle begins with hand fileworked, blue anodized titanium liners. Stainless overlays have been satin finished and separate the liners from gold anodized titanium overlays. Finally The copper scales have been elegantly patinaed. The interior of the liners has been mirror polished. The back spacer is formed from titanium and has also been fileworked and inset with a ruby. By anodizing the backbar prior to the satin finish, Corrie has made the filed sections gold anodized, while the flat surface is a matt satin. Excellent work throughout!
