Description: Corrie designs a spectacular folder and pays attention to every detail. His knives have unique appearance and feel, combining rare materials such as warthog tusk and damascus.
D'Lete with Warthog Tusk and Damascus has a sleek futuristic appearance, resulting from broad, angular geometric lines. The boot knife ground blade has been hollow ground and has very dramatic lines. Both the blade and bolsters are formed from highly complex mosaic Damascus by Ettoré Gianferarri. Gianferarri's Damascus is forged in small runs such that the patterns are rarely repeated.
Scales and bolsters sit on a satin finished stainless steel underlay. The titanium liners have been blue anodized and are fully fileworked. The interior of the liners has been mirror polished. The backbar is set with a faceted ruby and a faceted citrine. The thumb stud is inlaid with a faceted ruby. Exceptional work throughout.
