Description: This Todd Begg Field Marshall holds up the reputation for excellence that Todd has established.
The spear point blade is formed from 154CM stainless steel with a hand-rubbed satin finish. A hollow grind ensures an easy to sharpen, long lasting edge. This Field Marshall features an anodized, all-titanium frame with very rare Lightning Strike carbon fiber inlaid into mirror polished titanium scales. Copper strands move through the woven carbon fiber. This type of carbon fiber was originally designed for use on fighter jets to redirect electricity. Lightning strike carbon fiber is among the hardest to find knifemaking materials. Yellow fiber spacers set below the scales highlight the copper weave. The liners, backbar, and inlay around the pivot feature Todd's cracked ice texture. Todd has incorporated IKBS bearings for a perfect, silky smooth deployment of the flipper. The IKBS pivot was originally designed for balisong knives, and uses ball bearings for a smooth, dependable, solid action. The cracked ice titanium pocket clip makes it easy to keep the knife close at hand and is set for tip down carry. Exceptional work throughout!
