Description: Erik Fritz's knives have a classic look and feel coupled with an outstanding eye for uniquely detailed materials. This Damascus Chute Knife is a perfect example.
Erik began by forging out five separate bars of twist pattern damascus, beginning with 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels. Each of the resulting bars were stacked in opposing directions, resulting in a highly complex, detailed pattern that is sure to grab attention. By forging the blade to shape Erik assures that the complex pattern follows the blade shape. 1084 and 15N20 carbon steels, matched with his expert heat treatment ensures a keen, long lasting edge. The stainless steel fittings compliment the straight grained blackwood handle. This knife is sure to be a prize in any collection or tremendous knife out in the field. Accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
