Description: Bruce Barnett is a Western Australian knifemaker living in the hills of Perth. Bruce has an exceptional attention to detail and is a maker that I'm watching carefully.
The 8-1/4 inch blade was forged to shape. Bruce combined three separate bars of twist pattern damascus and stacked them in opposing directions. The complex pattern is immediately captivating, but also gains interest upon closer examination. The oval guard is formed from matching twist pattern damascus. Blue green toned mammoth ivory is set on a damascus frame with fileworked nickel silver liners. The knife is accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath with crocodile leather inlay. Both the knife and sheath are exceptional.
