Description: This exceptional hunting knife was forged by Bruce Barnett. It features a 4.2 inch carbon steel blade hand forged from 1075 carbon steel. The spine is rounded for comfort. A distal taper assures excellent balance.
The nickel silver guard is precision fit to the blade and is followed by a copper spacer surrounded by thinner black fiber spacers. The black fiber assists the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The handle is formed from ironbark wood. This relative of Eucalyptus has a deep, warm tone. It is very rare for ironbark to form birdseye grain and it is dramatic.
