Description: Raymond Richard's Bowie with Curly Maple captures the spirit of a time gone by - yet has the excellence one expects from a contemporary knifemaker.
The distal tapered blade has a long, graceful clip point. The combination of these two features pulls the weight out of the blade and creates an aggressive tip, and makes this knife remarkably nimble for a blade of nearly nine inches. The sides of the blade are forge finished, while the clip point and cutting edge are satin finished for a beautiful contrast.
The handle is formed from antiqued curly maple. The slim oval shape is comfortable to hold and a flare at the base of the handle ensures secure purchase. An antique wrought iron guard and butt cap complete the handle.
Excellent fit and finish throughout.
