Description: This handmade damascus utility is the masterwork of bladesmith Kelly Dallyn. Te slender 4-1/4 inch blade is forged from 320 layers of carbon steel that have been tightly twisted. Because the damascus is carbon steel, this knife should be dried after use. We also recommend using camellia oil to protect the blade from rust and oxidation. The spine is hand fileworked in a vine pattern to assure a secure grip. The blade is brought to a razor edge and has strong edge geometry. The cocobolo handle is recessed and swells to provide a comfortable handle. Nickel silver and brass pins nicely highlight the wood. This knife is sure to feel at home in any collection, but will also be a great choice for use out in the field. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
