Description: This dagger is among Greger's masterpieces to date. The long dagger ground blade is formed from stainless Damasteel damascus. The grind shows off the damascus pattern to its best. A large ricasso produces a strong area which was used to hit against another sword, thus protecting the more fragile cutting edge. The damascus guard has was carved from pool and eye pattern stainless damascus. The stacked handle is formed from ironwood, giraffe bone, and musk ox horn. Two sections of desert ironwood have been carved and textured. The giraffe bone has been dyed and stabilized. Three brass pins nicely compliment fileworked brass spacers. The musk ox horn has a beautiful grain pattern and translucence that is immediately captivating. It is among the most rare materials used on knives. The handle if finished with a textured brass crusher. Accompanied by a hand tooled leather sheath. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
