Description: This truly singular folding knife showcases the best of Emil Bucharsky's talent and artistry. He began by forging five separate bars of twist pattern damascus. These were then combined into one highly complex and intriguing blade, artfully pattern-matched and skillfully constructed. The blade is easily opened using the flipper, which has the silky smooth feel of a well-engineered mechanism. The handle scales are formed from damascus that Emil forged from 1095 and pure nickel. The final result is a striking, high contrast pattern. Accenting the damascene pattern are leaves of inlaid ammonite gemstone. Ammonite is a marine fossil noted for iridescence, featured here in rich hues complimented by inlaid 18kt gold vines and leaf buds. The handle is set on anodized titanium liners, colored to match the gold inlay. The damascus backbar is fully fileworked and pierced in a willow branch pattern. This pattern continues from the outside of the backbar and around through he interior. The knife is assembled with an internal stop pin and hidden screws. True quality is demonstrated in the exceptional fit and finish throughout.
