Description: An avid hunter, Randy knows exactly how a knife should perform. The steel should be hard and maintain a superior edge and the handle should feel at home in your grip. This sub-hilt fighter is no exception.
The hollow ground ATS-34 stainless steel blade will maintain a superior edge and a hollow grind means re-sharpening is straightforward. Hardened to 59-60 Rc, Randy has assured that the blade will keep a keen edge throughout the most demanding tasks. The spine of the blade is masterfully fileworked
Three sections of auburn toned ironwood bracket oosic, which in turn surround fire amber. Each of these have a lovely, deep luster and natural fine grain. Red fiber spacers, alternating with thin brass spacers, allow the handle to adjust to changes in temperature and humidity. Brass fittings, including the guard, subhilt and pommel, complement warm tones of the other materials well. The brass brings the weight back into the handle for truly magnificent balance. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
