Description: Serge was born in the Ukraine in 1983 and was always fascinated by knives. In 2005, when he visited his first knife show, he was inspired to try making a knife of his own. Though he makes practical hunters and tactical knives, art knives are his passion.
This exceptional Blacksmith's Knife was made from a Nicholson file. The blade was flat ground, with an etched, antiqued finish, bringing out the grain in the steel.
The handle combines the Nicholson file with copper. The bottom of the handle is made from a copper piece that has been fitted flush with the blade and then riveted with brass pins. Both steel and copper have been textured and antiqued.
The knife is accompanied by a presentation stand incorporating a piece of driftwood found an a Pacific Ocean beach with a forged from mild steel post.
