Starting with a razor sharp, hollow ground mosaic damascus blade by renowned Swedish bladesmith Micke Andersson, ebony and desert ironwood are mated together with a mortised joint to form the handle. Fine silver inlay is set in a fan motif. The handle is nicely shaped and very comfortable in the hand. Damascus is inlaid into the end of the handle.
The knife snicks securely into the sheath to form a graceful line from stem to stern. The sheath is formed from curly maple and 20 gauge nickel silver with a damascus inlay on the front. The top of the sheath is lines with chamois and there are two concealed magnets to hold the knife surely in place.
Excellent fit and finish throughout. Made entirely by hand with hand tools -- Jeff spent over 250 hours creating this masterpiece!
