Description: Swedish bladesmith Andre Andersson has an eye for design rarely found in other maker's work. His work is perhaps most influenced by both his father, Micke Andersson and Roger Bergh.
The deeply etched multi-bar Damascus blade has a very dramatic appearance. The firecracker pattern edge bar and twist pattern spine bar were forged from 15N20 and 20C carbon steels to assure a keen, long lasting edge.
The central handle section is formed from caramel toned fossil mammoth ivory that has been sculpted in an art nouveau style. Warm toned cocobolo surrounds the ivory. A front 'habaki' is formed from antiqued, textured copper. The resulting handle is both comfortable and dramatic. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
