Description: It is always exciting to find an early knife by a well known maker! This hunter/utility was made by David Broadwell back in late 1989 or 1990. Though David is well known today for his detailed, carved knives, his attention to detail is clearly evident in his early work as well. This knife has been in a knifemaker's private collection and has been meticulously cared for. It appears to have never been used for cutting and is in new condition.
The 440C stainless steel blade was hollow ground and hand satin finished. The left side bear's David's mark: "David Broadwell - Wichita Falls, TX". This mark was used shortly after he went fully time in July of 1989. The Honduran Rosewood handle is nicely sculpted for a very comfortable grip. It sells nicely at the palm. It is finished with a stainless lanyard hole. Accompanied by pouch style leather sheath. Excellent work throughout!
