Description: Corrie Schoeman has once again used fine Damascus steel made by Ettoré Gianferarri to create a captivating one-of-a-kind folder. The boot ground blade nicely shows off Ettoré's damascus pattern. Fossilized mammoth tooth scales rest on an anodized titanium frame. The scales are reminiscent of the stripes on a Siberian tiger and act as magnificent centerpiece. The liners, back bar, and blade are all fileworked, leaving textures that are interesting to the eye and hand. The backbar is fileworked with a prominent serpentine pattern. The thumb stud and the elegantly fileworked back bar both sport inset citrines. The bronze rear bolsters are textured. The interior of the titanium backbar is an anodized blue and bears Schoeman’s name. X'Cite is an excellent example of Schoeman’s handiwork, and his attention to detail (along with Gianferrari’s beautiful Damascus patterns) has once again accomplished something well and truly special that will catch the eye of any collector.
