Description: Corrie designs a spectacular folder and pays attention to every detail. This dramatic modified swayback wharncliffe folder shows off his work at its best and most creative.
The Damascus blade is a bold ladder pattern with excellent chatoyancy. It was forged by renowned South African bladesmith Bertie Rietveld. The perfectly centered blade is easily opened with the ruby thumb stud.
The titanium frame has been anodized to a yellow/gold tone. It is hand fileworked in a vine pattern. Stainless overlays have been satin finished. The copper scales have been textured and antiqued. The front of each one has been inlaid with abalone. The interior of the liners has been mirror polished. The back spacer is formed from titanium and has also been fileworked and inset with a ruby. By anodizing the backbar prior to the satin finish, Corrie has made the filed sections blue anodized, while the flat surface is a matt satin. Excellent work throughout!
