Description: Kiridashi are small knives used throughout Japan for doing all sorts of tasks. They are used in woodworking for marking and for detail tasks around the house. In the past, these knives were even carried by school children, who would use them to sharpening pencils, cut wood, and the like.
Tom's Angelfish Kiridashi was hand forged from 1095 carbon steel. The antiqued handle has been carved and engraved, depicting detailed angelfish. Japanese-style rust finish. The single bevel blade makes a very accurate cut. Accompanied by a bird's eye maple presentation box.
Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
