Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has a sense of design rarely found elsewhere. This highly detailed Swedish Puukko hunting knife brings together Gregor's artistic and design sensibilities with flawless results.
The blade was forged by renowned bladesmtih Johan Gustafsson. The firecracker damascus edge bar was forged from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels, assuring a keen, long lasting edge. The spine bar is a complex mosaic damascus incorporating T-Rex pattern tiles surrounded by a complex chutes and ladders pattern. The damascus has been heat colored to incorporate gold and silver tones. The spine has been fileworked, resulting in a sure thumb purchase.
The stacked handle combines front and rear sections formed from birch wood. A central warthog tusk spacer adds excellent contrast. The central section is formed from stacked birch bark -- a very traditional Nordic technique. Brass pin and wire adds tremendous appeal. Excellent fit and finish throughout. One of Greger's finest to date!
