Description: This engaging Everyday Carry Folder (EDC) has tremendous presence. The wide, clip point blade was forged from W2 carbon steel. Jody used a traditional Japanese method of heat treating where the spine is coated with clay to insulate the blade. The resulting blade has a soft, supportive spine, with a hard, long lasting edge. The differential heat treatment line is exceptional and immediately captivating. Jody made this knife with a 'nightmare' grind.
Exhibition grade desert ironwood scales rest on anodized titanium liners. The titanium backbar has been meticulously hand fileworked. The titanium bolster was differentially anodized. The handle is shaped for a sure, comfortable hold. The anodized titanium pocket clip makes it easy to keep this knife close at your side. Smooth action and well centered blade. Exceptional work throughout.
