Description: This Bowie was hand forged by Bill from 2 inch W2 square stock using a carefully regulated forge so that precise temperatures would be achieved during the forging process. It was then clay coated and heat treated using a temperature controlled oven to ensure that proper temperatures were obtained and maintained throughout the entire heat treating process, which in turn left a visible and very unique hamon line. The top clip is 6 1/4 inch and has been fully sharpened.
The hardware is Buxton mosaic damascus with a beautiful handle made from stabilized box elder burl. The sheath has tooling and is hand sewn using quality leather to assure years of service.
