Description: The Heavin Forge team, led by Mastersmiths Kevin and Heather Harvey, makes exceptional knives and this integral hunter is no exception.
The long, slender blade was forged by De Wet Van Zyl, Kevin and Heather's apprentice. The pattern is immediately captivating both from a distance and up close. The spine has been fileworked to provide a sure thumb purchase. The blade travels into the handle with an integral damascus ferrule. Creating integral knives is exceptionally difficult and shows great skill (not to mention perseverance). The handle is formed from impala horn. The natural shape of the horn forms finger grooves that are perfectly spaced to be very comfortable. The handle is completed with a giraffe bone butt cap. The knife is accompanied by a black leather sheath with cape buffalo leather overlay. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
