Description: South African knifemaker Andre van Heerden creates an amazing folder -- and at a price that could never be found from an American maker.
The drop point blade was formed from damascus by Ettoré Gianferarri. Gianferarri makes his damascus in very small quantities. His patterns are very complex and show tremendous skill. The blade has silky-smooth action and is well centered between gold anodized titanium liners.
The scales are formed from 416 stainless steel and have been meticulously hand engraved by Helene van Wyk in floral scroll. Exhibition grade black lip mother of pearl inlays have a full spectrum flash and a shimmering underlying texture. The inlay is perfectly performed in a very complex pattern. The stainless scales sit on anodized and fileworked titanium liners. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
