Description: From an antique tortoise shell comb found at an estate sale, Mastersmith P.J. Tomes created a small pocket knife of true perfection.
Beautiful tortoise shell scales in rich tones of amber, caramel and chocolate grace this delicately proportioned folder. The double blades are 52100 carbon steel and will have spectacular edge retention. Many knifemakers and collectors feel that this steel is among the best steels currently available for knives. The larger blade measures 1.5 inches. The smaller is 1.13 inches. When closed, the knife measures 2 1/2 inches. The slip joint design keeps the knife very thin in profile. The action is excellent and the blades perfectly centered. Designed to be carried in a vest pocket or simply displayed, this little folder will be treasured. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
