Description: Conny's knives have a sense of style not found elsewhere. While he draws heavily on the characteristics of traditional Swedish knives, his work is immediately identifiable and exceptional.
Conny began his drop point blade by forging out five separate bars of mosaic Damascus. The spine and edge bars are a bold explosion pattern. The spine is forged so as to show off the explosion pattern at the top, rather than on the sides. Central bars incorporate pure nickel, iron and 20C carbon steels and are highly complex mosaic damascus. Damascus of this complexity is extremely hard to create and the result is exceptional. The mosaic damascus bolster and butt cap surround a tan and gray-toned handle of prehistoric horse bone. The guard and butt cap are made from matching damascus. A pouch style tooled and stitched leather sheath in a rich brown accompanies this knife. As you would expect, the fit and finish is extraordinary.
