Description: Swedish knifemaker Greger Forselius has an eye for design and tremendous skill of implementation. This traditional Swedish Puukko has a well rounded handle that fits very comfortably in the hand.
The stacked handle is formed from redwood and buffalo horn with nickel silver spacers. Each of the pieces are meticulously fit into perfect arches. Both wood and bone have been carved. The central section of buffalo horn has been scrimshawed. The left depicts a close-up of a wolf. The right side shows a tiger.
The blade is formed from a stainless damascus in a pattern called Grosse Rosen (Big Roses). Large circles are forged into the steel for a very dramatic effect.
The knife is accompanied by a traditional Swedish leather sheath. The sheath has been dyed in black and brown splotches to compliment to colors in the handle. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
