Description: David Broadwell is well known for his attention to detail and the flowing lines of his carved blades. When this is combined with the exceptional engraving of Ray Cover Jr, the results are exceptional. As such, it is no surprise that this exceptional Persian was selected for David Darom's Art and Design in Modern Custom Fixed-Blade Knives. The knife is featured on page 91.
The long, trailing point blade is formed from a tightly twisted Damascus. The ricasso has been carved, textured, and set with silicon bronze three leaf buttons.
A bronze guard is engraved in an elegant scroll by Ray Cover Jr. This meets up with a carved mallee wood handle. The red toned wood has tremendous burl. Exceptional work throughout.
