Description: Micke Andersson's work is exceptional and innovative. The dramatic blade is forged combining multiple bars of complex Damascus steel. Opposing twist pattern Damascus bars form the center and spine. The edge bar is a bold explosion pattern forged from 15N20 and 20C carbon steels. The resulting blade will have exceptional edge holding. Twist pattern Damascus fittings bring the weight back into the handle and surround the complex stacked handle which combines wholly rhinoceros bone, fossil mammoth ivory and fossil walrus ivory. The prehistoric rhinoceros bone's caramel tones are nicely offset with the blue tones in the Siberian mammoth ivory. A white toned fossil walrus ivory spacer completes the stacked handle. Exceptional fit and finish throughout!
