Description: It is rare to find a Swedish knife of these large dimensions, but when Gregor Forselius put his mind and hands to it, the result was sure to be exceptional.
The large stainless Damascus blade is a bold pattern Damasteel calls Grosse Rosen. The contorted pattern immediately grabs attention, but is also fascinating upon closer examination. The long clip brings the weight back into the handle. The ricasso area has been nicely carved to very dramatic effect. The oval guard is fileworked on the sides and features Damasteel's Rose pattern Damascus. The sculpted handle is formed from musk ox horn and warthog tusk. Stacked nickel silver spacers add an excellent contrast. Black fiber spacers allow the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. Carved warthog tusk end cap. This exceptional knife is matched in quality to the traditional Swedish leather sheath. Excellent work throughout -- and easily one of Greger's best knives to date!
