Description: Bob Lay's designs are well thought out and show an amazing degree of craftsmanship. Stabilized box elder burl is nicely complimented by alternating stainless steel, black fiber and brass spacers. The stainless steel guard and butt cap create a perfect balance in the hand. By mirror polishing the flats of the blade and satin finishing the grinds, Bob creates a knife with grind lines that are very dramatic. The blade has been heat treated to 58Rc for optimal edge retention. Includes hand tooled sheath and cordura storage pouch. Accompanied by certificate from the maker.
