Description: Mastersmith David Anders makes an exceptional knife and this Damascus Gent's Bowie is no exception! The Damascus blade was forged to shape from 5160 and 1084 carbon steels. By forging the blade to shape, David assures grain refinement for a long lasting edge. The clip is brought just shy of a fully sharpened edge. A differentially heat treatment results in a softer, supportive spine, with a super-hard, long lasting, razor sharp edge. Sambar stag is surrounded by 416 stainless steel fittings. The oval guard leads into a fileworked ferrule. The pommel has also been fileworked. Sambar of this quality has become increasingly rare to find. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
