Description: This drop point utility features a D2 carbon steel blade. D2 combines many of the best attributes of carbon steel knives and stainless knives -- being fairly high in chromium, D2 is stain resistant, though not to the point of being "stainless". The blade, which was heat treated to 59-60 Rc will have exceptional edge holding. A distal taper to the blade assures perfect balance. A hand satin finish creates an elegant, long lasting finish. The grips are made of Diamondwood grips. Diamondwood, which is a laminate of hardwoods, combines the beauty of natural wood with the strength of synthetics. Nice work throughout!
