Description: This masterpiece by Raymond Richard has an ageless sense of grace that is rarely found in knives.
The blade was hand forged from 1084 carbon steel. A differential heat treatment assures that the spine is soft and resilient, whereas the edge is hard and will maintain a keen edge. The wrought iron for the fittings is forged from an 1850s era wagon wheel. The jet black African blackwood handle is nicely offset by the antiqued blade and fittings. Exceptional fit and finish throughout.
