Blade: Leaping Salmon mosaic Damascus blade by Roger Bergh
Handle: Stabilized buckeye burl and redwood with mosaic and silver pins
Sheath: Traditional Swedish leather sheath
Description: Greger Forselius has a tremendous sense of design. This handle on this Swedish Puukko has been dramatically sculpted from stabilized buckeye burl and redwood. The resulting shape has sculpted finger grooves, fitting securely and comfortably in the hand. silver pins and a larger central mosaic pin complete the handle. Thin red fiber spacers allow the woods to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. The multi-bar mosaic Damascus blade was forged by renowned Swedish bladesmith Roger Bergh. Twist pattern Damascus surrounds a central bar depicting salmon leaping as they head up stream to spawn. The twist pattern bars were forged from 20C and 15N20 carbon steels, assuring a keen, long lasting edge. Excellent work throughout!
