Description: Rick Dunkerley's sole authorship work is as exceptional and original as it is captivating. The hand forged, nitre blued blade and bolsters show off a detailed mosaic Damascus pattern. By using two different carbon steels along with nickel, Rick created two tones of purple/blue with silver lines. The blade is perfectly centered and has silky-smooth action. It is easily opened using the diamond thumb stud. Exhibition grade black lip mother of pearl scales perfectly dovetail with the matching Damascus bolsters. The 15N20 carbon steel linters are heat blued and fileworked both inside and out. The work is meticulous throughout -- with attention paid to every detail. Even the screws have been hand fileworked and heat blued. The 1084 carbon steel backbar has been heat blued and fileworked inside and out. Exceptional work throughout.
