Description: This clip point hunter has a uniquely South African feel with a fit and finish that is beyond compare. The carbon steel blade has been hand forged, differentially heat treated, and antiqued. The 5160 carbon steel will have excellent edge holding. The differential heat treatment assures a resilient knife with a keen, long lasting edge.
Kevin went to the GRS school for engraving early in the summer of 2004 and has been incorporating his own engraving in many of his knives since then. The result is exceptional. The bronze guard has been meticulously engraved with scroll work. The cocobolo handle is nicely sculpted with a swell at the palm for a great feel in the hand. Red and black fiber spacers allow the handle to adjust to temperature and humidity changes. A mosaic pin and lanyard hole finish out the handle. Excellent work throughout.
