Description: Corry's knives are some of the most spectacular and highest quality work coming out of South Africa. His designs are original and the implementation superb. This exceptional folder is undoubtedly his masterpiece to date.
The multi-bar mosaic Damascus blade combines four separate bars of steel into an extremely dramatic Damascus pattern that immediately pulls attention. The steel was forged by renowned maker, Ettoré Gianferarri. This Damascus is made by hand in extremely small runs such that it will rarely be seen on other folders. The blade has silky smooth action and is perfectly centered. It is easily opened using the ruby thumb stud. The ricasso has been inlaid with 7 cubic zirconia measuring 2mm each.
The bolsters are formed from stainless steel and have been meticulously engraved by Armin Winkler. The engraving depicts a South African club and spear crossed over a traditional shield. Five 2mm rubies are inlaid into each bolster. The exhibition grade mother of pearl scales are precision fit to the bolsters, meeting in an elegant arch and have a full spectrum flash. Titanium liners have been fully fileworked and jewel polished on the interior. The spine and backbar have both been fileworked. The backbar is inlaid with three 2mm rubies. Exceptional work throughout!
