Description: This pre-1847 early Sheffield style Bowie has a hand forged, high carbon steel 8 3/4 in. blade. The spine has decorative filework that nicely compliments Mike's logo. The blade is hardened and tempered to hold an edge and sharpen easily. The fittings throughout (guard and pins) are brass. Elk scales sit on a full tang and result in a comfortable handle. The knife is accompanied a sheath by levergunleather, located in the mountains of the Idaho Panhandle. Levergunleather specializes in custom carving in leather and this sheath shows off their work at its best.
