Description: This collaborative effort by Tom Sterling and Blain Kuykendall is an extremely engaging dagger. It is based upon Tlkingit and Haida Northwest Native American along with First Nation designs. The huge (12 1/2 inch!) blade was forged by Blain Kuykendall using his own cable Damascus. The handle is sculpted by Tom Sterling. Tom, who is an internationally known netsuke artist brought his full attention to detail to his sculpting. A Native American-style orca was meticulously carved from boxwood. The orca has tremendous detail -- from teeth to tail and blow hole. This dagger is accompanied by a black walnut display stand.
