Description: Swedish bladesmith Andre Andersson has an eye for design rarely found in other maker's work. His work is perhaps most influenced by both his father, Micke Andersson and Roger Bergh.
The deeply etched multi-bar Damascus blade has a very dramatic appearance. Firecracker pattern edge and spine bars were forged from 15N20 and 20C carbon steels assures a keen, long lasting edge. The central bar is an extremely complex geometric mosaic.
The central handle section is formed from prehistoric horse bone. Warthog tusk surrounds this and has been sculpted with organic carvings. The front bolster is formed from a side cut section of fossil mammoth ivory. The resulting handle is both comfortable and dramatic. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
